    This service will serve as an additional outlet for chemical manufacturer capabilities and business connections.

    • Provides an additional channel for your company’s project evaluation process.
    • Leverages existing relationships within the industry.

    Lead Sheet Process

     

     

     

    The pace of material insourcing and outsourcing is increasing. With the SOCMA Lead Sheet program, our expert staff will work with you to develop a project lead sheet that will be distributed to our membership network. Our goal is to help build business connections and streamline the project evaluation processes for both manufacturers and customers. SOCMA is uniquely positioned to connect manufacturers and customers through our member network and industry alliances. SOCMA routinely receives inquiries from members and non-members seeking information on member company product development and manufacturing capabilities.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Who receives my project information?

    Lead Sheets will be circulated to the Official Representative on record for SOCMA member companies.


    How is project confidentiality maintained throughout the process?

    All project requests will remain confidential until an inquiring company decides to pursue a project or further evaluate a company’s manufacturing capability, at which point SOCMA will provide potential manufacturer contact information to the requesting company for further evaluation and discussion.


    Who can participate?

    Members and non-members will be able to submit project or lead requests to SOCMA’s network of manufacturers. SOCMA members will receive project or lead requests.


    Is there a fee?

    SOCMA does not currently charge a fee to utilize this service.


    What is the process timeframe?

    1)      SOCMA and the customer meet to discuss the project

    2)      SOCMA staff will communicate the lead sheet for review in a timely manner.

    3)      Customer approves the lead sheet, SOCMA will distribute it to its member network.

    4)      SOCMA develops list of interested manufacturers and communicates their contact information back to the requesting customer.

    At this point, the process transfers back to the requesting customer for organizing and the path forward with the manufacturer. (Response times depending on requester).
