SOCMA’s 15th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on September 3 at the Dunes West Golf & River Club. The golf tournament is held in support of the American Chemical Society Scholars Program.
Nationally acclaimed by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest as a “Top 10 Resort Course,” Dunes West takes full advantage of its spectacular low country setting. The par 72 course, combined with Dunes West’s first-class club facilities and views, provides a spectacular experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the dress code?
The following are prohibited from the golf course/clubhouse: denim attire (jeans, skirts, dresses), shorts shorter than mid-thigh, cut-offs, tank or halter tops and t-shirts or shirts without collars. Shirt tails must be tucked in, and trousers must be worn at waist level. Turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks are acceptable. Soft spike golf shoes are welcome throughout the club.
What transportation will be provided?
A shuttle will be provided to and from the golf course.
Am I able to rent or ship golf clubs?

What are the registration fees?
Member
Early-Bird Foursome: $1,200 ($1,300 after August 2)
Early-Bird Individual: $300 ($325 after August 2)
Non-Member
Early-Bird Foursome: $1,600 ($1,700 after August 2)
Early-Bird Individual: $400 ($425 after August 2)Networking Reception Only: $105
Mulligans: $25
What does registration include?
Greens fee, golf cart fee, range balls, beverage station, networking lunch, reception and dinner buffet
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellation and Refund requests minus a $75 processing fee, requests must be made in writing to meetings@socma.org no later than August 09, 2019. No refunds will be granted after August 9, 2019. Substitutions are permitted.
